Since you paid for it, I can help you. Its not the Start-sai thingy thats stuffing up but the file you needed to download when you bought the program. You need to re-download the Download Software License Certificate File :)

Find the email that you would have gotten when you bought Sai from Systemax; this should include a Software Licence Number, a Certificate Download Password.
In the email there will be a link to: www.systemax.jp/en/license.htm…
You copy and pasts the Software Licence Number and Certificate Download Password into their respective boxes.
Now open up your Sai Program and under the "Others" drop down menu, click on the "System ID".
Copy and paste this into the correct box on the systemax website.
Click onto the "Download Software License Certificate" box.
Once the file is downloaded, just move it into you Sai's program folder (you probably wont be able to open this file).
Now restart sai.

I hope that helps cat planet cat planet  If it doesn't, tell me what happens and I'll see if I can work out what's wrong:3

Okay, I'm probably a complete idiot, but I've looked at a few different tutorial and they don't seem to be helping me.

I have windows 8 on my computer and I have all the files you showed above. The brushes I downloaded I got from here, www.brusheezy.com/

Now I extracted all of them. In my downloads folder, the folder for sai has "Sai 1.1.0" and "Sai 1.1.0 + Brushes" (Both of those are inside the "Sai 1.1.0" folder within my downloads)

So I clicked on "Sai 1.1.0 + Brushes" and copy/pasted the extracted files into "elemap". I Right clicked on one of the brushes and chose to open it with Sai and to do the same for all the similar files. Now, when I open a new Sai document, I click on the drop-down (number 14 from your tutorial) and they can't be opened for some reason. I occasionally get an error pop-up that says something similar to "File not able to open" or to the point, it can't be opened with Sai....

Am I doing something wrong?
